Object was to design a spatial and architectural concept for the first German School in Yaounde, the capital of Cameroon. The competition was awarded by the RWTH Aachen and the funding association for German School Yaounde.

The Swiss Epilepsy Centre is planning a new hospital. The goal was a highly functional building which considers the special needs of these clinic. The competition is a collaborative project of EPI and SZH Zurich.

The town of St. Moritz is planning to build a new sports and swimming indoor pool. The challenge was to solve a very complex program including a climbing hall, swimming pool and an area for spa and sauna.

The Europaallee is the new inner-city district of Zurich, right next to the central station. In the area H an office building will be build. The programm includes a hoteland offices as well as apartments and shops.

In the area of the Grossmarkthalle Frankfurt a memorial for the deported Jews is planned. The Bachelor Thesis project was guided by Professor Karl-Heinz Schmitz. Burkhard Grashorn and Manon Hoof helped with their contribution to the competition Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin during brainstorming.

The Bauhaus University Weimar called out a student competition for the design of a new Bauhaus Museum. Professor Karl-Heinz Schmitz supervised the students in the preparation of the projects.
